Empower Minds.
Secure Lives
Every rural child deserves an opportunity to learn and succeed in this digital era, regardless of their circumstances.
Empowering girls and women in rural India.
CherYsh (Est. 2011) is a dedicated non-governmental organization committed to empowering girls and women in rural India.
These often-overlooked areas are the heart of our mission — to change lives by providing education and job opportunities. Our approach to educate girls and empower women in rural India is built on programs around two principles: learning and livelihood.

Two principles drive
everything we do.
Educating children for digital futures, and empowering women to lead the way. One plants seeds. The other ensures they grow.
Cherysh Educate
CherYsh Educate brings trained village women and rural children together in After-School Learning Centers, building holistic learning, digital literacy, and critical thinking
Cherysh Empower
We equip rural women with teaching skills, digital tools, and income‑generating crafts empowering them to become confident educators and entrepreneurs in their own communities

02
Families
Behind “200+ families” stand Kanchana, Shantha, and Jaishri — women who moved from hesitant to confident, from dependent to independent.

And behind 97+ After School Learning Centres you see the smiles of Kanchana and Neelavva, pleased to impart knowledge — and mothers who in turn glow with pride to see their children getting educated.
