Christina M Ghose – CEO
Christina M. Ghose is an entrepreneur, business consultant, counsellor, and therapist. From an Employee to an Entrepreneur, her career has taught her both sides of an enterprise. After a successful exit, she has been working with CherYsh since 2016 in different capacities and helped set up its back-end team and processes including Finance, Accounting, Banking, Compliances, Budgeting, Human Resources, Donor Management and Engagement.
Vrinda Poojari, Programme Manager
Vrinda is a young graduate with an interest in the development sector. She interned with CherYsh in 2018 and has found a family here. She believes the work CherYsh does will have real, long term impacts on the lives of women and children in Haliyal and is also an opportunity for her to learn and grow into a development professional.
Rajitha Santhosh Poojari – Accountant(Part-Time)
Rajitha is a finance professional with expertise in accounting, the use of TALLY and ERP. She has had experience in working in global environments
Field Team
Nagaraj Kulkarni, Field Coordinator
Nagaraj Kulkarni studied in a public school deeply aware of the shortcomings of our education system, which strongly motivates him to change our children’s lives and improve communities. This pushed him to switch careers and acquire a Masters in Social Development. He has experience in the education and livelihood space working with other development organisations. Outside of work he is an avid poet and ponders on philosophical questions of life. He is known for his cooking skills among family and friends.
Shantha P. Doddamani, Field Staff Officer
Shantha is a Social sector professional with an MSW degree from Belgaum University and is passionate about community development in her region.
Manjula N Shignolakar, Field Officer; Admin and Accounts
Manjula has an undergraduate degree from Dharwad University and worked as a CherYsh Learning
Facilitator for a year before joining our Field Team. She has a deep commitment to development in Haliyal.
Consultants
Renu Mukunda – Programmes Consultant
Renu has over 30 years of experience in the Social Development sector. She has worked as a Development Consultant on many National and International projects and has experience in gender and educational work. She has worked closely as a Social Development Specialist with govt departments, National and International agencies including World Bank, Asia Development Bank, European Union and the like. Her strength is in formulating livelihood programmes using participatory processes.
Volunteers
Anjali D’silva, Volunteer – Donor Engagement
Anjali is a member of the Civil Defense force in Bangalore. She has managed business and trade engagements in the granite sector. She has a disposition for social work and is a voluntary teacher at the Ashraya orphanage, Indiranagar
Priya Vijayaraghavan, Volunteer
Priya has over 15 years of experience in the Software Industry and has experience working both in startups and big companies. She is currently a senior software engineer at Microsoft. She is dedicated and actively involved in providing help to cherYsh on their e-shikshas program and other ICT related tasks.
Suchita Hothur, Volunteer -Website Manager
Suchita is currently a student in 12th grade who updates the website for cherysh. She joined the volunteer program at cherysh through Aashayein. She has a passion for computer science. Apart from this she also loves baking, cooking and physical, outdoor activities.
Parinitha Vijaygopal, Volunteer -social media manager
Parinitha is a life science student and is currently pursuing an undergraduate course. She joined CherYsh’s volunteering team as a social media content manager. She wishes to set up a better environment with quality resources for women and children. Apart from this Parinitha is also passionate about animal welfare, travelling and adventure sports.
Madhu S.K., Technology Volunteer
Madhu is Technology Anchor at CherYsh. His professional skills are in the IT IMS domain. Apart from work he spends his free time with his family, pets, personal projects, photography, and badminton. Madhu also loves activities like Trekking and acquiring knowledge of Natural Science.
