The CherYsh approach focuses on key stages in the lifecycle of a girl, with programmes and initiatives to improve the quality of life predominantly for girls and women in rural India. The framework for change touches upon three dimensions of a girl’s journey from Learning to Livelihood. CherYsh implements programs along these three dimensions – early learning (EDUCATE), skills and vocational training (PREPARE), and livelihoods (SECURE) – from childhood, to youth, and to a woman. Change is initiated during these stages through support to early learning, skilling, enterprise and livelihoods, all in their own ecosystem and in the environment of the village neighbourhood.
This is a journey of progress, where CherYsh embraces key partnerships and technology as enablers of solutions in the mission to educate, prepare and secure rural girls and women.
